Reserve Royalty Income Trust ('RRIT' or the Trust) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Puchniak to the Board of Directors of the Trust

CALGARY, July 23, 2015 /CNW/ - RRIT is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Puchniak to The Board of Directors of the Trust. Mr. Puchniak retired on April 30, 2015 as Executive Vice-President of James Richardson & Sons Limited. From March 2001 to March 2014 he was also Chief Financial Officer of James Richardson & Sons Limited. Prior thereto, Mr. Puchniak was President of Tundra Oil & Gas Limited for twenty-three years.

Mr. Puchniak is currently Chairman and Director of both Tundra Oil & Gas Limited and Tundra Energy Marketing Limited. His is also a member of the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee of the Winnipeg Foundation and a Trustee of the Richardson Foundation.

RRIT is a private mutual fund trust focused on creating value for its unitholders by providing long-term, sustainable cash distributions through disciplined and creative royalty investments. RRIT invests in conventional oil and natural gas properties primarily in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and also has royalty interests in southwestern Ontario.

RRIT welcomes communication from entities or private interests who may wish to divest and monetize producing royalty assets or fund undercapitalized oil and gas opportunities through the creation of a royalty interest.
