StockTwits Yesterday

$XLB broke above resistance at $50.37 to reach an all-time high.

Nice breakout by $AGU above $93.30. ‘Tis the season for strength!

Quiet bullish technical action by S&P stocks to 10:45. Stocks breaking resistance were $ROST, $TJX, $WPX, $WY, $SWK, $FFIV, $FIS

 

Technical Action by Individual Equities

By the close, 16 S&P 500 stocks had broken resistance. Notable were Consumer Discretionary stocks. None broke support.

Three TSX 60 stocks broke resistance and none broke support. Royal Bank and Commerce Bank broke to all-time highs prior to release of fiscal third quarter results. Royal Bank starts the bank report season this Friday.
