European equities and related ETFs are under technical pressure following news of slower than expected economic growth.

A narrowing crack spread is impacting U.S. refinery stocks

A Supreme Court ruling on internet transmission of copyrighted television content had a positive impact on U.S. broadcasting stocks.

Share prices of companies that reported lower than consensus quarterly results had a rough time.

Bed Bath & Beyond fell 7% to $56.74 after reporting lower than consensus first quarter results after the close

Technical Action by Individual Equities Yesterday

Technical action by S&P 500 stocks was mixed. Four stocks broke resistance (CBS, GCI, NEE, PBCT) and five broke support (GIS, PSX, VLO, HRS, BMS).

No TSX 60 stocks broke key support or resistance.
