Clear Your Roadblocks eNewsletter — January 2009

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Welcome to the January 2009 edition of Clear Your Roadblocks To Success.

Are you excited about 2009?

What is the centre of your attention?

Are you focused on all the pain and suffering that is going on in the world or are you focused on the vision that you want to create?

Everything that is going on in the world is a miracle and miracles all depend on your perception.

There is the observer and the observed.

Perception is based upon what is going on inside of the observer and therefore the observer can change what is being observed.

Is your perception based upon pure consciousness or is your perception based on your fear based ego mind?

Your fear based ego mind is just an imposter pretending to be you.

Is your pure consciousness being interfered with by your fear based ego mind?

Pure consciousness is based on values like creativity and opportunity.

The fear based ego mind is consumed with judgment, attack and survival.

How can anyone approach success consumed by judgement, attack and survival?

The nature of pure consciousness is to create and evolve.

Your goals for 2009 exist within your pure consciousness.

It is important for you to write down your vision, business plan, 90 day goals and actions so that you can bring your pure consciousness to the light of day.

We are the creators of our pure consciousness.

That same pure consciousness creates the space for the divine.

Without pure consciousness your goals will not manifest.

Without pure consciousness there is only the fear based ego, and this will edge God out.

The fear based ego mind was created to hide ourselves to seek ourselves.

This economy is a miracle because in the fall and winter of this economy, the creativity of spring and summer will come again.

We can’t have constant creation or the universe will use itself up.

We can’t have constant destruction because all that will be is a black hole.

Growth is an ongoing play of creativity and destruction which all depends on our observations and expectations.

Some fear change to avoid perceived destruction and some relish creative destruction.

It all depends on the level of consciousness that we choose.

“I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.”

– Jack London

What will you do to expand your consciousness in 2009?

Consciousness creates everything and is a manifestation of itself.

Everything comes into existence through consciousness, they do not exist by themselves.

The question is what are you choosing to create?

Without consciousness the universe remains un manifest.

Will you choose conscious participation in 2009 no matter what?

What are your expectations for 2009?

Are your expectations based on what you accomplished in 2008 or what you didn’t accomplish in 2008?

Are you starting the New Year based on what you need to accomplish or are you starting the New Year based on the value that you want to add to those that you serve?

Who do you need to become in order to attract what you want?

Are you starting the New Year coming from the values of creativity and opportunity or from the unmet needs of security and worthiness?

Are you starting the New Year in pure consciousness or in pure ego?

Do you know the difference?

There is the true self and the fear based ego self.

The true self is compassionate, joyful, loving and spontaneous, and experiences higher evolutions of consciousness and constantly leaps into creativity.

The true self does not try to dominate the fear based ego self.

The fear based ego self tries to dominate the true self.

The true self does not try to kill the fear based ego self.

Rather, the true self shows compassion towards the fear based ego self by observation, not judgment.

When the true self identifies the unmet needs of the fear based ego self, and observes with compassion, the limiting emotions and limiting beliefs, the sensations of the fear based ego self go away.

The fear based ego self is angry, defensive, fearful, guarded, upset and far too serious.

The true self is unbounded.

The fear based ego self is constricted.

The true self observing the discomfort in the physical body is a gauge.

The more constricted, dominated and emotional, the more dominate the fear based ego self.

The more bliss, comfortable and defenceless, the more one is connected to the true self.

Self esteem comes from being connected with the true self.

The true self is independent of good or bad and the opinion of others.

The true self is superior to no one and doesn’t feel beneath anyone.

The fear based ego self is all consumed with it’s outside identification with circumstances, money, objects, position, possessions, relationships, situations and things.

Relationships are on the list because there is addiction on this planet of people desperately trying to get their needs of approval, recognition and worthiness met through other people, which is impossible.

Ask your true self; Am I worthy of the love of my true self?

Is your fear based ego desperately trying to find it through circumstances, money, objects, position, possessions, relationships, situations and things?

Are you embracing change or do you fear change?

Do you fear change because of a lack of fulfillment because you fell asleep and allowed your fear based ego mind to hypnotize you into believing that your fulfillment could be gained through circumstances, money, objects, position, possessions, relationships, situations and things?

“Avoid resistance at all cost. Resistance is an all-encompassing term for what Freud called Death Wish. Resistance cannot be reasoned with. It understands one thing. Power. Resistance takes on the form of drugs, shopping, TV, gossip, alcohol, drugs, and the consumption of all products containing alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, fat, salt and sugar. The greatest danger is Resistance knows when the finish line is in site and it will throw out one final assault.” – James Redfield

This is a time for reinvention for financial advisors and this reinvention includes vision and is not limited to the following business plan components of; branding, client communications skills, client segmentation, client relationship management software, delegation, niche marketing, product specialization, succession planning, team building and viral marketing.

Viral marketing allows you to stay in touch with your clients without a lot of effort.

People don’t care about what you know until they know how much you care.

What you know will not come through until you invest in who you are.

Imagine you started your year back in January 2003 and that you invested the last five years in implementing the above business components.

Bring your true self back to January 2009 and feel what it feels like to start your year with all of these business components in place and as a result you have a steady stream of referrals and renewal income coming in.

Imagine that it is January 2014 and you are still stuck doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

The handle to the doorway to your success is on the inside.

Who you are and what you want to create must be the centre of your attention.

The answer is not out there.

The only question is, will you choose to change?

Have you had enough yet?

This article was created from the reading I did and from the videos that I watched over the holidays by Richard Bach, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman and Neale Donald Walsch.
